45 Andy WarHOG
In order to find a design for our hog, we held a competition as a homework task.
Children were given the name of the hog and, with this in mind, they created their own designs.
We had many excellent entries but eventually the winner was chosen. The winning design was produced by Evelyn Humphrey who is currently in Year 6. She based her design on Andy Warhol’s famous portraits of Marilyn Monroe.
Evelyn and three of her friends (Rosie Hockham, Daycia Chambers and Harvey Glendenning) recreated her design on the hog. After painting the squares, Evelyn used her own hand to create the prints.
